Breeding Hereford cattle has been a lifelong passion of Andrew’s from a very early age.  Focusing on proven bloodlines, confirmation, and phenotype, have all played an important role in ensuring Sugarloaf produces cattle of the highest quality.

Meet the team

Our stud is located in the beautiful Upper Murray, Towong Victoria. Andrew and Serena along with sons Layne and Mackinley continue to expand the stud.

In February, Sugarloaf hosts their Annual on Property Sale consisting of both horned and polled genetics. Sugarloaf welcomes the opportunity for bulls to be previewed prior to sale day by prior arrangement.

It was great to get back to the Herefords Australia National Show and Sale - Wodonga. SC Unbreakable U127 sold to the Hollis family Lotus Herefords $12,000. SC Top Gun T111 sold to David & Marg Trethowan $18,000. We are thrilled to have had both bulls go into two outstanding Hereford herds and to two passionate Hereford breeders. It was also wonderful to catch up with old faces, friends and clients, and a great opportunity for our boys to have more exposure to showing and the industry. Thank you to the Hereford National Show Committee and volunteers who put in all the hard work behind the scenes to organize such a great event.
